Sabancı University Theatre Club (SUOyuncuları) has been awarded a certificate at the Ünides Certificate Ceremony for its project “Garden of Dreams,” which brings theatre to children in earthquake-affected regions.
The certificate ceremony for Ünides Projects that were successfully completed in previous periods was held this year with the participation of Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak. During the event, representatives of three selected exemplary projects from different fields delivered short speeches.
Representing SUOyuncuları, club member Ozan Toptaş spoke about the “Garden of Dreams” project, which was selected among the three exemplary projects. The speech highlighted the project’s origins, the bond established with children in the earthquake-affected regions, the healing power of art, and the sense of responsibility young people take on through volunteering.
At the end of the program, Minister Osman Aşkın Bak presented the certificates to the students involved in the projects.
The Ünides Certificate Ceremony provided a platform for sharing youth-led social responsibility projects and fostering mutual learning, while also serving as a source of motivation for SUOyuncuları to continue its journey in this field.
